小葛從小就有嚴重的語言障礙，葛媽為了幫助小葛建立自信，鼓勵他加入兒童合唱團，並安排吉他、鋼琴課程
讓小葛用音樂說出自己想說的話。17歲那年小葛拿下選秀比賽亞軍，開始在歌壇發光發熱
葛媽也一直陪著小葛身邊，不讓兒子被演藝圈的名利沖昏了頭。
後來小葛與唱片公司解約，在這退居幕後沉潛的三年中，始終陪在他身邊的也是葛媽
小葛為了感謝媽媽的多年不變的愛，就寫了”守護天使”獻給媽媽
這首歌所描述的就是無條件的愛，當你迷失的時候，永遠會有一個人在你身邊，指引你正確的道路
